Tasting Notes
Six bottles. Six growers. One snapshot of Burgundy.

A Snapshot of Burgundy, Bottled
This is what Burgundy looks like right now.
Bright, lifted Chardonnay with tension and clarity. Pinot Noir that moves between red fruit and earth, with structure but no heaviness. Gamay with vibrant, fruit-driven energy, and Aligoté with freshness, texture and a distinctly Burgundian edge.
These are wines made by families who farm by hand, harvest small parcels and obsess over every detail.
You’ll taste limestone freshness. You’ll feel the subtle, silken texture that Burgundy does better than anywhere else. And you’ll understand why these growers are at the heart of what we do.
Six bottles, each with its own voice. Together, they tell a much bigger story.

Why It Matters
The details that tell the story

Hand Harvested
No machines, only human hands selecting each grape with care & precision.

Organic Principles
Grown with no synthetic chemicals and utmost respect for the terroir. Nature’s true expression in every sip.

Regional Classification
The gateway to Burgundy and a glimpse into the region's charm. Humble labels, but incredible flavours.

Village Classification
Only 44 villages in all of Burgundy earn this classification, each delivering a distinct character found nowhere else on Earth.

Aligoté
Often overlooked, never outdone. A hidden gem of crisp, zesty, and refreshing beauty reclaiming it's top spot.

Chardonnay
The crown jewel of white Burgundy. Elegant, textured, and endlessly expressive, from flinty Chablis to rich Meursault.

Gamay
The so-called "bastard grape" that was once banned (?!). Rebellious, fruity and endlessly drinkable.

Pinot Noir
The signature red. Silky, complex, and hauntingly aromatic, capturing the essence of its terroir with every sip.

Why Burgundy?

Burgundy has crafted legendary wines for over 2,000 years. The birthplace of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, it’s where every slope, village, and vineyard reveals its own voice of terroir.
You can grow vines almost anywhere, but only here is this magic bottled so beautifully.
There’s a saying amongst wine enthusiasts that all roads lead to Burgundy.
We say, why not start there...

Verified Trustpilot ReviewFAQs
Clear details, so you can buy with confidence
Is this wine ready to drink now?
Yes. This is ready to drink now and should give plenty of pleasure straight away. Open it for its perfume, texture and charm rather than waiting for the perfect distant moment.
Should I buy one bottle or a few?
One to try, three if you want to follow it over time, six if you already know the producer or style. Burgundy moves quickly, and small parcels rarely hang around for long.
What if I’m not sure this is my style?
Use our live chat, or pop us an email. We specialise in Burgundy and are always happy to help. Our tasting notes are based on wines tasted by our founders and updated regularly, so you can buy with proper confidence.
How quickly will it arrive?
Fast. We ship every wine on a next-working-day service and dispatch Monday to Friday. At checkout, you can even choose a delivery day that suits you.
How is it packed?
Each bottle is wrapped in tissue before being carefully placed into our specially imported Italian boxes, tested to rigorous standards. We have literally dropped them from the first storey of our house. All our packaging is paper-based and recyclable.
Can I send it as a gift?
Absolutely. As standard, our wines arrive wrapped in bespoke tissue paper. At checkout, you can also add gift bags, gift boxes and notes.
