From a tiny room, to this…
How it All started
From the very first sip of Burgundy, we knew this was something we had to follow.
A trip to Beaune, the beating heart of the region, turned that spark into something real. What started as curiosity quickly became an obsession.
Then in 2025, we left our jobs and went all in.
Burgundy Wine Club was built to do things differently. To strip away the barriers, and open up this world to the next generation of wine lovers.
Behind this door, everything changed.
A single sip of this wine —and we knew we had to chase the dream.
On a trip to Burgundy, we were staying in Beaune—the beating heart of winemaking—when our guide, Alex, scooped us up for our first tasting. What we didn’t know? Just thirty seconds from our doorstep, hidden in plain sight, was a winery pouring wines so good they nearly knocked us off our feet.
And then it happened. A sip of Pommard Premier Cru Clos de Verger 2021 from Pierre Mayeul. Minds were blown. Socks? Fully knocked off. Next thing we knew, Ben quit his job, and Burgundy Wine Club was born—all to make sure you get to taste wines this unforgettable.

We’ve all become full-blown Burgundy geeks since falling for the region—but we still remember where we started. Back then, we didn’t know if Gevrey-Chambertin was a grape or a village, if Clos de Vougeot was a vineyard or a medieval fortress, or if ‘Premier Cru’ meant first place in a race.
Now, we’re here to share everything we’ve learned—minus the faff, plus the fun (and the wine, of course).

Before I fell for Burgundy, I fell for cooking. Master Chef pushed me to explore flavors in a whole new way—balancing acidity, depth, and texture to create something unforgettable. But the biggest revelation? Wine does the exact same thing. One bottle of great Burgundy showed me that great wine isn’t just something to drink—it’s an experience, just like great food. Now, we’re here to share those discoveries with you—no fuss, no faff, just incredible Burgundy.

'Clos de Verger'
The story of our logo.
When it came to choosing our logo, we simply couldn’t resist a nod to the vineyard that started it all—the very place where we fell head over heels for Burgundy wine.
Look closely, and you’ll see that the icon in our logo is actually the outline of ‘Clos de Verger,’ a Premier Cru gem tucked away in the village of Pommard. It’s our tribute to the wine that brought us together—and the region that keeps our glasses full.
