Tasting Notes
Fruit bomb alert. Cherry, spice, vanilla swagger—and it's grown next to a Grand Cru. Show-off flavour, no ego.

Next Door to Greatness. Pure Ladoix Energy.
From its prime perch just beneath Grand Cru territory, this Ladoix hits the glass with purpose. Cherry and strawberry burst out first, then come warm spices—clove, pepper, a lick of liquorice—and soft vanilla from time in barrel. The acidity keeps it lifted, the fruit keeps coming, and the tannins land like a tailored handshake: firm, polished, confident.
This isn’t a wine that demands attention—it earns it. Ludivine Griveau lets the terroir shine, following her belief that you “receive what you can from the grapes, rather than asking for something from them.” The result is bold, structured, and generous. A proper Pinot, with a splash of swagger.

The Plot
This Ladoix hails from a plot just below one of Burgundy’s Grand Crus on the Côte de Beaune. Classic Pinot Noir thrives here on clay-limestone soils, delivering both fruit concentration and natural tension. A site of quiet prestige—and serious potential.
