Vinelights
The Wine That Started It All. Single Vineyard. Micro-Producer.
From the first sip, you’re hit with cherries so vivid you can practically hear the orchard. Then comes the violet, delicate, floral, and just a little bit cheeky, like a French kiss on a spring morning. Just as you’re floating on perfume and fruit, in struts black pepper, reminding you that this Premier Cru knows how to hold its ground.
The finish? Silky tannins that glide like an Olympic luge team. A whisper of tea leaf lingers—classy, contemplative, and frankly, a little poetic.
Grown in the walled Clos de Verger vineyard by the brilliant Ludivine Griveau for Pierre Mayeul, this wine flips the script on Pommard. Less brawn, more finesse. A seductive, softly-spoken masterpiece that leaves a lasting impression.
Forget the growl. This Pommard purrs.
📍 The Plot
Tucked into the northern edge of the village, Clos de Verger is a walled Premier Cru vineyard whose name means “orchard.” Wild fennel grows just beyond its boundary, and inside, Pinot Noir thrives on limestone-rich soils that yield wines with structure and fragrance in perfect tandem.
This was the wine that started it all for us—and the outline of Clos de Verger even inspired our logo. A tribute to where we fell head over heels for Burgundy.
