Vosne-Romanée ‘Maiziéres’
Blackberry
Strawberry- Just below Les Suchots, with floral lift and juicy raspberry charm
- Violet, wild strawberry and garrigue, wrapped in silky structure
- 50% whole bunches bring aromatic lift and fine tannins

About this Wine
This is Vosne in full flirt mode. Grown just below the Premier Cru Les Suchots, Maizières delivers juicy raspberry, wild strawberry, and violet florals with silky ease. It’s fresh, lifted, and featherlight — but don’t mistake elegance for simplicity. That Vosne spice, structure, and length are all tucked into the folds. A wine that’s quietly irresistible. It’s easy to see why Vosne-Romanée produces the greatest wines in the world.
Floral and lifted, with raspberry, wild strawberry, violet and a subtle garrigue edge over silky structure.

Tasting Notes
Light on its feet, heavy on seduction — Vosne with a floral wink and pure cherry.

Silk Sheets, Spicy Secrets. Vosne at its Most Teasing.
You can feel the neighbourhood here. Bordering one of Vosne’s most prized Premier Crus (Les Suchots), Maizières shares the same fragrant lift and seductive fruit, but with a breezier, more delicate frame. The 2023 hums with ripe raspberry and violet, with a herbal twist and whisper of garrigue under the fruit. It’s floral, fine, and gorgeously drinkable. A graceful counterpoint to the structure and spice of Aux Réas — but just as compelling.

The Plot
Maizières is a village-level site right on the boundary with Les Suchots, one of Vosne’s most iconic Premier Crus. A gently sloping plot with good drainage and plenty of sunlight, it produces wines that lean toward the expressive, elegant end of the Vosne spectrum — floral, red-fruited, and often faster to charm.
Technical Details
Fruit from the eastern-facing Maizières vineyard, was fermented with around 50% whole bunches to bring aromatic lift and fine tannins. Ageing took place in a 50/50 mix of ceramic and oak barrels, with just 20% new oak used. The ceramic component ensures a pure, unmasked expression of Pinot, while oak builds gentle texture. A structured, expressive Vosne with the bones to age gracefully.
