About this Wine

If Chambolle had a deep voice and a tailored jacket, this would be it. Grown from 60–70-year-old vines across four prized plots—including the quietly legendary Clos de l’Orme—this wine is all black cherry, blackberry and silk. Fine tannins, a little spice, and just the right amount of swagger. Adrien lets the fruit ripen long, then reins it in with smart oak and a whisper of whole bunch. It’s dark, elegant and pure class.

Tasting Notes

Old vines. Dark fruit. Pure class from a young winemaker with real vision. From the plots just shy of Premier Cru.

Chambolle-Musigny

The return of a Chambolle legacy...

This is serious, soulful Chambolle from a fourth-generation winemaker reclaiming his roots. Adrien Guyon blends fruit from four plots of 60–70-year-old Pinot vines: Les Fouchères, Les Maladiers, Les Mal Carrées and Clos de l’Orme, to create a wine with presence and poise. The fruit is dark and refined, with layers of black cherry, blackberry, and violet, lifted by 20% whole bunch and shaped by 25% new oak. It’s Adrien’s first Chambolle release, and it already feels like a signature.

The Plot

Each of the four lieux-dits brings something distinct: Les Maladiers and Les Mal Carrées offer depth and structure; Les Fouchères adds freshness; and Clos de l’Orme (often whispered about as Premier Cru in waiting) brings finesse and aromatic clarity. The vines are 60–70 years old, rooted in classic clay-limestone soils, and carefully harvested for full ripeness. Adrien then uses barrel selection to tighten the frame, adding definition without weight. The result is a layered, precise expression of Chambolle from a domaine finding its voice again.
