Beaune Premier Cru ‘Les Boucherottes’
Strawberry- Cherry, violet and strawberry on a silky, polished frame
- Premier Cru Les Boucherottes, from a rare single-source vineyard
- Hand-harvested with organic principles, quietly poised and charming

About this Wine
This Beaune Premier Cru sits between legends — Clos des Mouches on one side, Pommard’s Epenots on the other — and it lives up to the postcode. Cherry, violet and spice glide across a silky frame, with gentle tannins and a clean, polished finish. A wine with charm, flow, and just enough attitude. Easy to drink now, but far too classy to rush.
Floral and elegant, with cherry, strawberry and violet over silky texture, soft tannins and a polished finish.
“Excellent wines from small producers which you can’t find elsewhere.”
Verified Trustpilot Review“The service has always been personal and excellent.”
Verified Trustpilot Review“Great wines, very reasonably priced, and customer service is excellent.”
Verified Trustpilot Review“Ben is super friendly, knowledgeable and takes time out to make sure you are assisted personally.”

Tasting Notes
Just above Epenots. Just below Clos des Mouches. Beaune’s best-kept secret — until now & brimming with cherry charm 🏆

Just above Epenots. Just below Clos des Mouches. Beaune’s best-kept secret.
Les Boucherottes may not have the fame of its neighbours, but it’s got all the flavour. Grown on deep clay soils just above Epenots and bordering the legendary Clos des Mouches, this wine brings the best of both worlds: floral elegance, juicy fruit, and Premier Cru plushness. Expect ripe cherry, fresh strawberry and a whisper of violet, carried on soft tannins and a perfectly balanced frame. There’s no flash, just finesse — and plenty of it.

The Plot
Tucked between two iconic vineyards, Les Boucherottes is a low-slope Premier Cru with excellent clay-rich soils. That gives it a bit more fruit depth than many Beaunes, while keeping its hallmark softness and polish. A bit under-the-radar, but not for long.
Technical Details
Hand-harvested and fermented with 50–80% whole bunches, then aged in a mix of ceramic and oak barrels with no more than 20% new wood. Elegant now, but will age gracefully into the 2030s.

Discover Their Story
A.F. Gros is where two great Burgundy families, Gros and Parent come together.
Now led by siblings Caroline and Mathias Parent, this next-gen duo brings fresh energy to a legacy of precision.
From Bourgogne to Richebourg, every wine gets the same care: whole bunch ferments, ceramic ageing, and a quiet radicalism behind the classic style.

Verified Trustpilot ReviewFAQs
Clear details, so you can buy with confidence
Is this wine ready to drink now?
This will benefit from time in the cellar. You can open it now if you enjoy youthful energy, but patience should bring more depth, harmony and complexity.
Should I buy one bottle or a few?
One to try, three if you want to follow it over time, six if you already know the producer or style. Burgundy moves quickly, and small parcels rarely hang around for long.

Use our live chat, or pop us an email. We specialise in Burgundy and are always happy to help. Our tasting notes are based on wines tasted by our founders and updated regularly, so you can buy with proper confidence.
How quickly will it arrive?
Fast. We ship every wine on a next-working-day service and dispatch Monday to Friday. At checkout, you can even choose a delivery day that suits you.
How is it packed?
Each bottle is wrapped in tissue before being carefully placed into our specially imported Italian boxes, tested to rigorous standards. We have literally dropped them from the first storey of our house. All our packaging is paper-based and recyclable.
Can I send it as a gift?
Absolutely. As standard, our wines arrive wrapped in bespoke tissue paper. At checkout, you can also add gift bags, gift boxes and notes.
