A Bourgogne Pinot Noir with some rather impressive origins! Produced from vines averaging 60 years old, with parcels in Chambolle-Musigny and Nuits-Saint-Georges, Adrien Guyon’s 2024 is a wonderfully elegant expression of Pinot Noir. Bursting with fresh red cherries and juicy raspberries, there’s a beautiful sweetness to the fruit, almost reminiscent of old-fashioned fruit sweets. Light, delicate and wonderfully charming, with a subtle creaminess on the finish. A lovely example of just how exciting Bourgogne-level wines can be.

Tasting Notes
Sixty-year-old vines from Chambolle-Musigny. Beautiful red cherries, juicy raspberries and pure elegance.

There's something rather exciting about discovering the origins of Adrien Guyon's Bourgogne Pinot Noir.
Rather than coming from one large vineyard, this wine brings together fruit from several small parcels, including vineyards in the celebrated village of Chambolle-Musigny. And with vines averaging approximately 60 years old, there's considerably more to this Bourgogne than its humble classification might suggest.
The 2024 is an absolute delight.
The nose is immediately inviting, full of fresh red cherries and beautiful raspberries, with a delicate sweetness that almost reminds me of old-fashioned fruit sweets. It's wonderfully charming, the sort of nose that makes you smile before you've even taken a sip.
On the palate, everything feels beautifully light and elegant. The red fruits carry through with lovely freshness, while a subtle creamy quality softens the finish and brings a rather lovely sense of harmony.
When we tasted this in February, it was still a youthful wine finding its balance. But the purity of the fruit and the elegance are already there, and I'm particularly excited to see how it develops.
A Bourgogne Pinot Noir with genuinely interesting vineyard origins, made by one of Burgundy's exciting young talents.

The Plot
Adrien's Bourgogne Pinot Noir draws fruit from several parcels across Chambolle-Musigny. These include Au Pelson, Les Rues and Les Bons Bâtons in Chambolle-Musigny, alongside Les Maladières and Aux Maladières.
With vines averaging approximately 60 years old, rooted in clay-limestone soils, these established vineyards provide the foundations for a wine of beautiful elegance, freshness and purity of fruit.
Technical Details
Produced from 100% Pinot Noir, harvested entirely by hand, with the family involved in picking. The grapes are completely destemmed before fermentation begins with indigenous yeasts. During an approximately three-week maceration, Adrien employs daily punch-downs (pigeage) and pump-overs (remontage) to encourage extraction of colour, flavour and tannin. Following devatting, the wine undergoes maturation in oak barrels.

Each bottle is wrapped in tissue before being carefully placed into our specially imported Italian boxes, tested to rigorous standards. We have literally dropped them from the first storey of our house. All our packaging is paper-based and recyclable.
Can I send it as a gift?
Absolutely. As standard, our wines arrive wrapped in bespoke tissue paper. At checkout, you can also add gift bags, gift boxes and notes.
