An amazing red Burgundy that tastes like a good village wine. A wealth of fruits rouge character, but also impressive earthy complexity and supple tannins that deftly underline all this. Long, silky finish. A cuvee of wines from Ladoix, Monthelie and Savigny-les-Beaune. From organically grown grapes.
About this Wine
A beautifully silky, fragrant Bourgogne Pinot Noir, packed with raspberry and redcurrant fruit before moving into more savoury, earthy territory. Fruit from Ladoix, Monthélie and Savigny-lès-Beaune gives this far more depth and character than you might expect from the appellation.
Silky and fragrant, with raspberry, redcurrant and strawberry brightness, savoury forest floor, and a poised, rounded finish.

Tasting Notes
Silky, fragrant Pinot Noir with raspberry, redcurrant and earthy complexity. Far more serious than its Bourgogne label suggests.
This is Bourgogne Pinot Noir with considerably more ambition than the name on the label might suggest.
Delphine Frey draws the fruit from vineyards in Ladoix, Monthélie and Savigny-lès-Beaune, bringing together three distinctly Côte de Beaune expressions in one beautifully composed wine. The result is wonderfully fragrant, opening with bright raspberry and redcurrant before moving into something more savoury: woodland earth, dried leaves and a gentle Burgundian complexity beneath the fruit.
The texture is a real highlight. Silky and supple rather than lightweight, with rounded tannins and enough structure to give the wine shape without ever losing its charm.

The Plot
A blend of organically farmed Pinot Noir from Ladoix, Monthélie and Savigny-lès-Beaune in the Côte de Beaune.
Rather than treating Bourgogne Rouge as an afterthought, Domaine Frey draws on fruit from several serious village terroirs, giving the wine considerably more depth and character than you would normally expect at regional level.
Technical Details
Produced from organically grown Pinot Noir and harvested by hand. Domaine Frey works according to organic and biodynamic principles, with Delphine Frey overseeing the estate alongside cellar master Axelle Piska, formerly of Domaine Etienne Sauzet.
The style here is centred on purity, texture and a clear expression of the fruit: fragrant red berries, supple tannins and earthy complexity, all held together by a fresh, poised finish.

Discover Their Story
There’s a new generation behind Domaine Frey. Now led by Caroline Frey's sister, Delphine Frey alongside young cellar master Axelle Piska, formerly of Domaine Étienne Sauzet, the seven-hectare estate is entering an exciting new chapter.
From Pommard, Volnay and Meursault to the slopes of Aloxe-Corton, its tiny range culminates in three Grands Crus, including their own Monopole, Corton Grand Cru ‘Le Clos du Château’. Organic farming, biodynamic principles and a new precision in the cellar are putting this historic domaine firmly back on the map.
