Tasting Notes
Six bottles. Six expressions. One snapshot of White Burgundy.
This is what White Burgundy looks like right now.
Across this six-bottle case, you will find a range of styles that show just how expressive Chardonnay and Burgundy’s other white varieties can be. Some are bright, citrus-led and mineral, while others bring more texture, depth and richness from riper fruit, older vines or time in oak.
Expect everything from lemon, green apple and pear through to stone fruit, white flowers and gently rounded, nutty notes, all underpinned by the freshness and precision that define great White Burgundy.
The real interest comes from the differences between growers, villages and vineyards. Cooler sites can bring taut acidity and chalky minerality, while warmer or more sheltered parcels often give broader fruit, softer texture and greater weight.
Six bottles, six individual expressions of White Burgundy. Together, they offer a brilliant introduction to the freshness, texture, complexity and sense of place that make the region’s white wines so compelling.
