Tasting Notes
Perrières at full voltage. Pure energy, no compromise. This is why Perrières is whispered as Grand Cru.

Not Comfort. Not Opulence. Just Energy.
Time and time again, Perrières has been whispered about as a future Grand Cru.
This is exactly why.
From Les Perrières Dessous, the heart of the slope, where the limestone turns to rock and everything sharpens. This is not comfortable Meursault. This is something else entirely.
The first impression is almost deceptive. Light. Precise. Delicate even. Lemon zest, crushed stone, a flicker of reduction.
Then it shifts.
Not into weight or richness, but into energy. Pure, fizzing, electric energy. Like lemon sherbet running through the core. It crackles. It hums. It feels alive in a way that’s hard to pin down.
There’s nowhere to hide here. No softness. Just clarity. Just precision. A relentless, driving line that carries through the entire wine.
This is Perrières at its most uncompromising.

The Plot
Les Perrières Dessous sits in the most prized section of Meursault Premier Cru Perrières, at the heart of the slope where the soils become increasingly rocky and limestone-dominant. This terroir is famed for producing some of the most mineral, precise, and long-lived wines in Meursault, often drawing comparisons to Grand Cru level for its intensity and definition.
Technical Details
100% Chardonnay from Meursault Premier Cru Les Perrières Dessous, grown on extremely rocky, limestone-rich soils that drive the wine’s tension, precision, and mineral intensity.
In the cellar, the approach follows the domaine’s signature style. Whole bunches are pressed long and firmly to extract maximum lees, with controlled oxidation only at this early stage. Fermentation takes place in custom 456-litre barrels for both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, keeping oak influence subtle and allowing the terroir to speak clearly. From pressing to bottling, the wine is protected with nitrogen, preserving its purity, energy, and tightly wound, linear structure.

Discover Their Story
The story begins in 2017. At just eighteen years old, Pierre-Vincent Girardin founded his own domaine, working with a handful of exceptional vineyard parcels retained from his family’s historic holdings.
Raised in Meursault and shaped by generations of Burgundian winemaking, he works organically in the vineyards and has rapidly forged a style defined by purity, precision and energy. Already being compared to Coche-Dury & Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey, from the first taste, it’s clear why.
