We want your experience with Burgundy Wine Club to be as smooth as a perfectly aged Pinot. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how we deliver your wine, and what to do if something isn’t quite right.
Delivery Information
We aim to get your wine to you as quickly and safely as possible. Here’s what to expect:
- Delivery Times: We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 working days. Delivery times can vary depending on your location, the courier, and stock availability, but we’ll keep you in the loop throughout. If you’ve got a special occasion coming up and need your wine by a certain date, just drop us a message, we’ll do our best to make it happen!
- Age Verification: As we sell alcohol, someone aged 18 or over must be available to accept the delivery. We (or our courier partners) may ask for ID upon delivery.
- Delivery Charges: Delivery costs will be clearly shown at checkout. Some orders may qualify for free delivery based on your total spend or quantity ordered, this will also be shown before you pay.
For pre-order or en primeur: The estimated delivery window will be provided at the time of purchase, but please note that delivery times may vary depending on the release schedule and shipping conditions. For any wines purchased on pre-order or en primeur, we will contact you to arrange delivery of these once they arrive with us from the producer.
Returns & Refunds
Changed Your Mind? No Problem.
We really hope you love your wine, but if something’s not quite right, we’re here to help. Whether you’ve changed your mind or something arrived damaged, here’s everything you need to know about returns.
If you’re a personal customer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. Here’s how it works:
- Just complete our returns form here, or email us at hello@burgundywineclub.co.uk, with your order number and let us know you’d like to return your item’s.
- Make sure the bottles are unopened, undamaged, and in resaleable condition.
- You’ll need to cover the return postage, and we can help arrange this for you, or we recommend using a tracked service.
- Once we’ve received your return and checked everything’s in order, we’ll process your refund within 14 days, straight back to your original payment method or as account credit if you prefer.
Received Something Damaged or Faulty?
Oh no, we’re really sorry about that. Please get in touch within 24 hours of receiving your order so we can make it right.
Drop us a line with:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- A few photos showing the damage or fault
We’ll review the issue and offer a replacement, refund, or account credit, whichever suits you best. As some of our wines are rare or limited in stock, a replacement might not always be possible. If that’s the case, we’ll be in touch to work out the best alternative. Occasionally, we may need the bottle returned for inspection, but don’t worry, we’ll guide you through the process if needed.
Trade Customers
If you’re one of our Trade Customers, we kindly ask that you:
- Get in touch within 48 hours of delivery if there’s an issue.
- Note that returns must be agreed in writing and may include a restocking fee.
- We can’t accept returns for overstock or unsold goods, and change-of-mind returns aren’t available for trade orders.
Faulty items? We’ll work with you to find a fair solution, whether that’s a refund, credit or replacement.
