Vinelights
Pinot Noir. But Make It Airy.
Up at 400m in Arcenant, the vines are low density, the soils are Jurassic marl and limestone, and the wines come with bounce. This is a bright, structured Pinot that balances freshness with a little chew — think cherry, blackcurrant and raspberry with liquorice and earthy spice kicking in at the finish. It’s a proper red Burgundy, just with the edges ironed out and the vibe turned up. Affordable, food-friendly, and far too easy to finish.
📍 The Plot
From a 2.23 ha site near Arcenant, where altitude slows ripening and brings extra freshness. The plot sits well above most Côte de Nuits vineyards, so harvest is two weeks later than the estate average — adding a little zip to the fruit and length to the season.
🍇 Technical
100% Pinot Noir. Cold maceration (5°C) for 3–5 days, followed by 10 days of fermentation with regular remontage. Aged for 12 months in mostly old oak (only 10% new). No fuss, no flash — just clean, balanced, honest red Burgundy with charm for days.
