About this Wine
This Beaune Premier Cru sits between some serious company, with Clos des Mouches on one side and Pommard’s Epenots on the other. Bright red berries, cherry, violet and subtle earth sit across a silky frame, with 50% whole bunch adding lift and spice. Even the name has a story, with “Boucherottes” thought to come from an old French word for the bushes or small thickets that once grew here.
Floral and perfumed, with bright red berries, cherry, violet, subtle earth and a silky, lifted frame.

Tasting Notes
Perfumed, silky Beaune Premier Cru with red berries, cherry, floral lift and a distinctly polished feel.

Just above Epenots. Just below Clos des Mouches. Beaune’s best-kept secret.
Les Boucherottes may not have the fame of its neighbours, but it’s got all the flavour. Bright, perfumed red fruit and floral detail, but with a little more breadth and depth underneath. Red berries, cherry and subtle earth lead the profile, with 50% whole bunch adding freshness, spice and aromatic lift.
A polished, elegant Premier Cru with wonderful substance, yet without losing its finesse.

The Plot
Les Boucherottes sits in enviable company, with Clos des Mouches on one side and Pommard’s Epenots on the other.
The vineyard lies at the southern end of Beaune, close to the Pommard boundary, with deep marl and surface silt contributing extra breadth and depth.
Its name is thought to derive from “bouchot” or “boichot”, old French words referring to a bush or small thicket, a little reminder of what once occupied these slopes before vines dominated them.
Technical Details
Made with 50% whole bunch, bringing extra perfume, freshness and gentle spice while keeping the tannins fine and the fruit lifted.

Discover Their Story
A.F. Gros is where two great Burgundy families, Gros and Parent come together.
Now led by siblings Caroline and Mathias Parent, this next-gen duo brings fresh energy to a legacy of precision.
From Bourgogne to Richebourg, every wine gets the same care: whole bunch ferments, ceramic ageing, and a quiet radicalism behind the classic style.
Our Take
“Just above Epenots. Just below Clos des Mouches. Beaune’s best-kept secret.”
