Sitting just beside Bonnes Mares, this is Premier Cru with serious presence. A single-site cuvée from Adrien Guyon, made with 100% whole bunch and 100% new oak, it opens with blackcurrant, blackberry and a savoury flicker of tobacco leaf. The palate is deep, dark, and expansive – lifted by stony acidity and that tell-tale limestone minerality. Still young, but already striding with purpose. One for the cellar, and then some.
Dark and lifted, with blackcurrant, blackberry, plum, tobacco leaf, liquorice, and a chalky mineral edge.
“Excellent wines from small producers which you can’t find elsewhere.”

Tasting Notes
Les Fuées: dark fruit, wild edges, and a future worth cellaring. Premier Cru Greatness.

Chambolle’s Wild Side
Les Fuées sits just next to the Grand Cru, Bonnes Mares, and you can feel it in the wine. This is Premier Cru with presence. A little wilder, a little darker, and beautifully composed. Adrien Guyon goes all-in here: 100% whole bunch, 100% new oak, and a plot that gets full afternoon sun up on the upper slope. The fruit is black and brooding. Blackcurrant, blackberry, and plum - wrapped in spice, tobacco leaf, and a flicker of liquorice. What keeps it all fresh is that pulse of acidity and the deep limestone minerality that drives the finish. It’s already impressive, but the future’s the real story.

The Plot
Les Fuées sits high on the Chambolle slope, pressed up against the Grand Cru Bonnes Mares. It shares that rocky, limestone-rich soil and afternoon sunshine, which gives the wine its combination of dark fruit power and high-tension elegance. Adrien harvests with full ripeness, ferments entirely with whole bunches, and ages the wine in 100% new French oak. It’s the most structured and age-worthy wine in his lineup, and one that promises decades of evolution.
