Vinelights
Burgundy Royalty with a Twist of Citrus.
This is Santenay Blanc turned up to eleven—rich, creamy, but still full of verve. The nose is a citrus grove at golden hour: lemon curd, pink grapefruit, a flick of lime peel. On the palate, ripe orchard fruit glides over toasted brioche and soft butter, with chalky minerality holding it all together like the perfect linen jacket.
There’s a plushness to it—Premier Cru weight without heaviness. It doesn’t just coat your mouth; it charms it.
📍 The Plot
‘Passetemps’ is a Premier Cru parcel in Santenay with serious Côte de Beaune credentials. Just beyond its rows sits the Château de Passetemps, once the residence of a 19th-century owner of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. With excellent exposure and limestone-rich soils, this site yields Chardonnay with both structure and flair. A quiet corner of history, now in a glass.
