This is Vosne in full flirt mode. Grown just below the Premier Cru Les Suchots, Maizières delivers juicy raspberry, wild strawberry, and violet florals with silky ease. It’s fresh, lifted, and featherlight — but don’t mistake elegance for simplicity. That Vosne spice, structure, and length are all tucked into the folds. A wine that’s quietly irresistible. It's easy to see why Vosne-Romanée produces the greatest wines in the world.

If Chambolle were a person, we’d flirt with it at a party and write about it in our journal the next day. This one’s a heart-stealer — all cherry, violet, and raspberry with a floaty-soft texture that makes you think “just one more glass.” It’s perfumed, polished, and light as air, but there’s concentration underneath too. Chambolle at its most classic and showing why it combines elegance and fruity intensity so beautifully.

This Beaune Premier Cru sits between legends — Clos des Mouches on one side, Pommard’s Epenots on the other — and it lives up to the postcode. Cherry, violet and spice glide across a silky frame, with gentle tannins and a clean, polished finish. A wine with charm, flow, and just enough attitude. Easy to drink now, but far too classy to rush.

Grown high in the hills above Nuits-St-Georges, this is Pinot with lift, crunch, and serious charm. Cherry, raspberry, and a flick of wild strawberry dance over chewy tannins and a spice-laced finish. Fresh, juicy, and just structured enough to feel grown-up. Great with grilled things. Better with a second bottle.

One of Burgundy’s most prestigious names heads south — and brings their silky touch to the granite soils of Moulin-à-Vent. This is Gamay with structure, spice and real intent. No carbonic frills, just proper winemaking, fine-grained tannins, and plush red fruit. It’s youthful, focused, and already drinking beautifully. A rare chance to taste a Burgundy grandee’s take on Beaujolais — and at a fraction of the price.

This isn’t your grumpy old-school Pommard. Pézerolles is light on its feet, floral on the nose, and just salty enough to make you come back for more. Raspberry, rose, and a flick of spice glide over a silky frame, with fine tannins and mineral tension keeping things tight. Elegant, expressive, and totally addictive — we’d buy it for the name alone, but the wine’s even better.

This Echézeaux isn’t afraid to mix it up. Medium ruby purple and buzzing with strawberry and raspberry charm, it brings a playful whole bunch lift that cranks up the structure. A whisper of coffee on the finish takes it over the top, proving that even a Grand Cru can have a cheeky side. Pure, engaging, and totally irresistible — no wonder it was one of the favourites from 2023.

If this wine were any sleeker, it would have its own tailor. White blossom and stone-fringed minerality glide effortlessly into juicy pear and ripe peach, while a whisper of butter and vanilla adds just the right amount of swagger. Rich yet razor-sharp, it’s elegance with an edge—like a silk suit with a perfectly timed one-liner.

This wine grabs your attention from the first pour. It bursts with ripe cherry and juicy red fruit, while the oak takes a backseat letting the fruit steal the show. The tannins? Silky. The finish? Fresh, elegant, and impossible to ignore. Grown from 45- to 55-year-old vines, these deep roots bring serious concentration and depth. Old vines, big character—this is Saint-Romain at full throttle.

If wines had personalities, this Saint-Romain would be the effortlessly cool one, turning heads without trying.
