Tasting Notes
A rare sweet Burgundy from naturally botrytised Chardonnay. Honey, candied fruit and citrus freshness, with balance and precision.

One of the rarest bottles in the collection. A sweet Burgundy wine.
La Cuvée Botrytis is one of the few sweet wines and a truly special expression of white Burgundy. Made only in exceptional vintages, it comes from naturally botrytised grapes, where noble rot brings concentration, richness and that unmistakable honeyed depth.
This is sweet Burgundy with serious poise. Think honey, candied fruits and citrus, but with enough freshness to keep everything lifted, balanced and beautifully drinkable. It is rich, yes, but never heavy.
A bottle for cheese, foie gras, dark chocolate, or simply for anyone who wants to see a completely different side of Burgundy.

The Plot
The Quintaine vineyard soils are Oxfordian white marls, contributing to the wine’s depth, structure and mineral expression. The result is a rare, complex and delicately powerful Viré-Clessé, shaped by both terroir and time.
Technical Details
This cuvée is made from naturally botrytised grapes, where noble rot enhances concentration and maturity. The wine is slowly vinified and aged for an extended period on fine lees, building texture and aromatic complexity while preserving balance and freshness.
