Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Blackberry- Dark berries, black pepper and smoky oak with real Gevrey-like depth
- Northern Côte d'Or fruit, structured and spicy, with silky tannins
- Hand-harvested Pinot Noir, vibrant cherry and floral lift over rounded body

About this Wine
You could easily mistake this for a Gevrey-Chambertin, and that’s the point. From vines in the north of the village, it brings dark berries, black pepper, and a smoky oak hug. Deep, structured, and spicy in all the right ways, this is a gateway bottle that pulls you straight into the Pierre Mayeul fold. We absolutely loved it.
Dark and perfumed, with blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry, black pepper, smoke and a silky, structured finish.

Tasting Notes
All the swagger of a Village Gevrey - without the bill. Smoky, spicy, and seriously gluggable 🍷

Big Pinot Energy. Gevrey Vibes. Regional Price.
Deep purple in the glass, it opens with dark fruit and lifted cherry, then rolls into a smoky, spicy swirl of black pepper, floral perfume, and toasty oak. It’s structured, energetic, and built for the dinner table. Rich without being heavy. Serious without taking itself too seriously.

The Plot
The fruit comes from the northern edge of Gevrey-Chambertin, and you can taste it—there’s real muscle here. Pierre Mayeul give this cuvée the royal treatment: longer oak ageing and a solid proportion of new barrels, designed to show what they can do even at regional level. And honestly? It works. Brilliantly. Village quality for a fraction of the price.

Fast. We ship every wine on a next-working-day service and dispatch Monday to Friday. At checkout, you can even choose a delivery day that suits you.
How is it packed?
Each bottle is wrapped in tissue before being carefully placed into our specially imported Italian boxes, tested to rigorous standards. We have literally dropped them from the first storey of our house. All our packaging is paper-based and recyclable.
Can I send it as a gift?
