Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Blackberry- Juicy cherry, raspberry and blackberry with a perfumed, floral edge
- Silky, balanced tannins with fresh lift and rounded Pinot Noir texture
- Fixin fruit from Ravry and Potey, with limestone tension and depth

About this Wine
Think of this as the quietly brilliant type—the one who doesn’t shout, but somehow steals the whole show. One of the plots just promoted to Fixin Village, the other surrounded by other Village level vineyards. The fruit here practically beams: juicy cherry, raspberry, rose petals and a tingle of freshness that makes you want to chase it down the glass. It’s perfumed, punchy, and seriously drinkable. We could talk about structure… but we’re too busy pouring another glass.
Floral and perfumed, with juicy cherry, raspberry, blackberry, rose and a graceful, silken freshness.

Tasting Notes
Perfumed, juicy, and full of zip. From a vineyard just reclassified as Fixin. Future Village in disguise. Be one of the lucky ones.

Fixin Fruit. Village-Level Energy. Messager-Germain's Largest Cuvée.
A blend of two vineyards in Fixin: Ravry, already reclassified as Village, and Potey. Ravry’s upper slopes bring limestone tension; Potey’s deeper clays bring plushness and depth. Together, they make a Bourgogne Pinot that’s far more than the sum of its parts.
Expect a burst of red fruit—black cherry, raspberry, blackberry—layered with violet, rose, and a flash of vanilla. Aged in older oak to let the fruit shine, and vinified with a gentle hand, this is Burgundy you can sip, savour, or just flat-out drink.
📍 The Plots
Both plots sit in the village of Fixin. Ravry brings concentration and lift, Potey brings softness and generosity. Planted with 10 (Potey) & 45-year-old (Ravry) vines, the blend shows real complexity and balance.

Technical Details
100% Pinot Noir. 100% destemmed. Cold maceration at 8°C for 5 days. Gentle extraction: 3 punch-downs, mostly pumpovers. Aged 12 months in 2nd-use barrels. No filtration. 4,900 bottles produced.

Look closely at the vineyard floor and you might spot a flash of blue: Speedwell. Known in French as Véronique, it’s a humble wildflower that thrives between the vines—symbolising life, renewal, and the quiet beauty of working with nature. It’s also the emblem of the Messager-Germain estate.

Discover Their Story
Famille Messager-Germain is Burgundy’s next big thing: bold, bright, and born to shake things up.
Adèle and Simon trained in Beaune, cut their teeth with icons like Groffier and Drouhin, and came home to Fixin to revive old family vines.
Now they’re bottling tiny, thrilling cuvées that fuse deep roots with fearless ambition.
Our Take
“Bourgogne in Name, Fixin in Spirit.”
The first wine I ever tasted from Adele & Simon at Messager-Germain—and it left one of the biggest impressions. Perfectly balanced, buzzing with trademark freshness, and absolutely bursting with juicy fruit. A total knockout.
